The Nanosecond Principle©

The Nanosecond Principle© is a term coined by Patti Stueckler.

This principle refers to the split-second opportunity that a listing has in the MLS to either capture a buyer’s imagination – or not.

When a buyer is scrolling through listings online, a great exterior photo can make all the difference in whether they decide to click on a listing–allowing them to see all the rest of the photos and read the remarks.

Every home has a story to tell. It is through great marketing that your listing agent can convey that message in an instant to prospective buyers.

An example of the Nanosecond Principle is highlighted in these two photos:

Back of Home - Featuring Horse and Acreage Used as Main Exterior Photo by Team Stueckler

Team Stueckler successfully sold this property — after three previous realtors were unsuccessful in getting it sold. Patti Stueckler applied the ‘Nanosecond Principle’ that she has deleloped over 20 years in selling real estate. It is essential to ‘tell the story’ of a given property — after identifying the most likely targeted audience of buyers for that home.

Previous real estate agents used the front of this home as the main photo in the MLS listing, which is what most agents do when listing a property. However, this property includes over four acres, a barn and a riding ring. Patti instantly told the amazing story of this property and it’s appeal to the horse-loving buyer. She used a photo of the seller’s horse as the main exterior photo, with the back of the home in the distance.

Team Stueckler has some of the best real estate marketing in the business. This home went under contract in 26 days after listing – and sold!
